New Features & Functionality
Framework Selection: It's another crowd pleaser . . . We are excited to introduce a powerful new feature that enhances your profile management: the ability to turn control framework within your account on and off with ease.
This feature empowers you to:
Optimize reporting: Easily disable framework's implementation values from Control Effectiveness processing when they are not needed, allowing you to report results based on specific framework implementation. Inputs to any framework are saved when they are turned off and can be re-activated at anytime.
Increased Flexibility: Gathering control implemenations for a new framework or just want to test how additional framework controls impact your overall Cyber Exposure, but not ready to commit them to your reporting, you can turn them on and off as needed.
Gain an overall ROI perspective: Would you like to see all your X-Analytics outputs as they relate to inherent risk? Need to get that pat on the back for all your teams hard work, turn off all control frameworks and review X-Analytics outputs from the perspective of inherent risk. Turn them back on and compare to show the ROI of your past and current efforts.
Note: This feature is enabled at the account level and is accessible by Organizational admins only.
How to use: It's simple. Navigate to your "My Organization" page and scroll down to "Frameworks". Toggle any or all frameworks on or off. When you leave the page X-Analytics will process the changes in your Report Center
Enhanced Control Effectiveness Insights: We have implemented a significant enhancement to our Control Effectiveness calculation methodology. Previously, Control Effectiveness across 100 risk scenarios was weighted by the best framework implementation input provided. Moving forward, it will be averaged across all control frameworks enabled in your business profile.
Why?
Tailored Insights: By averaging Control Effectiveness across all enabled frameworks, you'll gain a more comprehensive understanding of how well your controls are performing across your frameworks.
Comprehensive Evaluation: This change ensures that the effectiveness is measured more holistically, taking into account the diverse strengths of multiple frameworks.
Better Decision-Making: With a clearer picture of overall control effectiveness, you can make more informed decisions to strengthen your risk management strategies.
This update reflects our commitment to providing you with the most reliable and actionable insights. We believe this change will help you better navigate the complexities of utilizing multiple control frameworks, provide a more tailored view of Control Effectiveness, and lead to improved business outcomes.
